HR3 presents to post graduate students at Monash University

It was a privilege for HR3 to be invited by Monash University to present to a group of very bright post graduate students this week. The students are studying with the Monash Centre for Occupational and Environmental Health (MonCOEH) and were a mix of currently employed professionals including workplace health and safety managers, IT and medical practitioners from a range of private businesses, not-for-profit and government bodies.

Our brief was to demonstrate the features and applications of HR3’s workplace health and safety (whs) and human resources (hr) modules to form part of the teaching unit in 'Safety Management Systems'.

Mohamed Derie, Business Development Manager presented an overview of all HR3 modules and I followed with a more in depth walk-through of HR3's whs and hr modules, providing practical examples of such things as incident and hazard management and reporting and highlighted the effectiveness of our integrated whs, hr and payroll modules.

We were very happy to answer questions to the satisfaction of the students and the lecturer around:

  • statistical reporting

  • types of customers using the suite

  • management of license/skill expiries

  • industry specific WHS questions

It was a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate HR3’s WHS and HR modules to the workplace health and safety professionals of the future and we look forward to working with another group of MonCOEH students again.

We thank Monash University for the opportunity and wish the students well with their further studies.

Kind regards
