CASE STUDY: Nawamban Super



Nambawan Super Limited (NSL) is a superannuation fund based in Papua New Guinea with 140,000+ membership base, 150+ employees and 17 branches.


Fortnightly payruns were taking over a week (working into the evenings) to complete. Leave administration was done manually and balances kept in an excel spreadsheet for accruals records.


HR3 payroll, hr and kiosk modules were chosen because of their superior functionality, flexibility and reporting. Employee records are generated from an electronic master file in which all personal and development information is kept.


Nambawan Super now have a payroll system which is easy to use and the pay run is completed in just one day. This change has significantly cut down the hours spent on payroll and NSL have used the free time to develop three staff in human resources functions.
